About The Comic:
It's a webcomic about nothing! It has no consistent basis is anything. There is no plot or cool gimmick or plan to
become the next most popular thing. This is just me and my notebooks, and whatever happens to be in my head at the time.
If you can enjoy that sort of thing for what it is... well, awesome.
I have a friend who swears that there isn't anything he'd
eat that he wouldn't enjoy better with bacon. Another friend insisted that he would not eat a bacon cheesecake, and that he would
bake this cheesecake just to prove a point. This argument dragged on for far longer than it should have.
Whilst doodling some
stuff to make my friends laugh, as per usual, I was asked why I did not have a web comic yet. I did not really have a good answer
for this. I told the afore mentioned friend that if he would finally make a bacon cheesecake, and let me eat some,
I would make a web comic, and might even name it "Bacon Cheesecake" after the cause. And that's how I got roped into this whole thing:
My love for bacon and pie.
About The Artist:
Anne Hero is a series of tubes. She is usually kept in a box with some wires and foam peanuts. Periodically, she is allowed out to draw comics and dance for change or bits of biscuit.
She is the sole designer and maintainer of baconcheesecake.com, and therefore writes about herself in the third person.
She seems cynical, and has no pictures posted, so she's probably fat or has a penis. Maybe both.
Occasionally she has too much b00ze and forgets to update for a month or two...
Anne Hero is also known as Bwargh Von
Modnar, but some of her older readers can't pronounce that name for the life of them, or just plain refuse to. So she adopted the new name
sometime recently after losing an iPod...
